  • Pear, 4 medium pear(s), peeled
  • Cinnamon stick, 2 stick(s)
  • Masterfoods Cloves, Whole, 1 teaspoon(s), 2 whole cloves
  • Allspice, 1 teaspoon(s)
  • Black peppercorn, whole, 1 teaspoon(s)
  • Bay leaves, 1 leaf(s)
  • Red wine, 2 cup(s)
  • Water, 300 ml
  • Blue vein cheese, 100 g
  • Equal, Granular, 1 teaspoon(s)

Method

Place all ingredients except cheese and Equal into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Add Equal and mix well. Set aside for 4 hours.

Drain pears and serve with 25 g cheese per person.
