Below are the different CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet program options for HBF members.
HBF Hospital Cover Option*
The HBF Hospital Cover Option provides access to the 12 Week Online Program which includes access to our science-based meal plans, simple at-home exercise plans and digital tools, plus 3 x Health Coaching Sessions, and a copy of the CSIRO Complete Recipe Cookbook. The Hospital Cover Option is fully covered* under your eligible HBF Hospital product.

*Important information about HBF Hospital Option
When you join the HBF Hospital Cover option, you will be provided access for up to 7 days of the CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet HBF Hospital Cover option while HBF is assessing your product eligibility to access the program fully covered.
Once eligibility is confirmed a copy of the CSIRO Complete Recipe Collection cookbook will be added to your membership and you will get access to the Health Coaching Session booking feature to book your 3x health coaching sessions. This may take up to 14 working days.
The HBF Hospital Cover Option is only available for HBF members who hold an eligible product. Waiting periods and other eligibility criteria, may apply.
If it is determined that you are not eligible for the fully covered HBF Hospital Cover Option you will be notified via email and your access to the online program will be removed.

Frequently asked questions
Is Fast Start included?
The Fast Start program and Fast Start shakes are not included with any of the HBF options. The CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet optional extras, such as the Fast Start Starter Pack or Resistance bands are not covered by your HBF extras or hospital cover. If you wish to purchase Optional Extras, you will be responsible for the full cost of the chosen Optional Extras.
What is the difference between the Premium Program and the regular 12 Week Program?
The Premium Program includes everything from the 12 Week Program, with the addition of three coaching sessions with a Total Wellbeing Diet Health Coach, plus a hard copy of our popular CSIRO Complete Recipe Collection cookbook.
Am I still eligible for the refund incentive from CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet via HBF offers?
The refund incentive from CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet is not available via any of the HBF offers.
However, HBF members may be eligible to claim back on the 12 Week Program and Premium Program options via their eligible HBF Extras cover**.
What can my Health Coach help with?
All Total Wellbeing Health Coaches are university-trained Accredited Practising Dietitians and trusted members of Dietitians Australia (DA). They also know the CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet inside out, and can answer all your program, nutrition and weight loss questions.
Total Wellbeing Health Coaches will help you identify your goals and ensure they’re aligned with your lifestyle, and they’ll help you stay motivated and on-track during your weight loss journey.
Is the CSIRO Complete Recipe Collection cookbook an ebook or a hard copy?
A hard copy. Once you've signed up to either the Premium Program or your eligibility is confirmed for the HBF Hospital Cover Option our team will send you a copy of the book to the address you listed during registration. You don't need this to start the program though! Once you've signed up you will have immediate access to the online program. If you don't want to start right away, you can choose a date up to 7 days in the future.
